GSO Test

A Confident, Creative Community

Dear all,

It is so lovely to start a new term with EVERYBODY in! Thank you all so much for your patience, understanding and, for those in full lockdown, your incredible home schooling efforts over the last term - we seriously could not have got through it all without you.

We have been very lucky with the weather this week so the children have spent the majority of their days exploring the outdoor area. Whether it be cooking up a feast in the mud kitchen; perfecting their gymnastic moves on the climbing equipment or finding a sunny spot to share story books.

This half term, our topic is 'Once Upon a Time' and the children have really immersed themselves in the world of fairytales through their writing, artwork and role play activities.

It has certainly been a busy and fun-packed week and we look forward to many more to come over the rest of this half term!

Have a wonderful weekend,

Miss Gomes and Miss Becker

Reminders:

Our P.E day in on Wednesday so please ensure that your child is wearing a Fircroft P.E. kit on that day. (Information about the correct P.E kit can be found here.

Book change days are on Tuesdays and Fridays. Please ensure that you sign your child's Reading Record book when you have heard them read so that we know that they are ready for a new book.

As the weather warms up, you may wish to send in a sun hat and/or sun cream for your child. Please note that we are unable to rub the cream in for your child but will happily help them squeeze/spray it out of the bottle.
