Summer Term Year 4 Learning from Home activities- Week beginning 22nd June 2020

Hello Year 4,

We cannot thank you enough for your continued hard work throughout these strange and challenging times. I know it has been such a long time since we were in school, and I know things are becoming tricky – particularly with staying motivated and keeping up with learning from home – but we are so proud of you for continuing to push through and dedicate yourselves to your learning. Keep going!

National School Sports Week

This week, starting from Saturday 20^th – Friday 26^th, is National School Sports Week. This is an initiative put together by Youth Sport Trust alongside Sky Sports to encourage children to stay active and stay connected through this difficult time. We would like as many of our Fircroft children to get involved as possible, to take advantage of this great event. The idea is a pretty simple one:

Choose– an event or activity to take part in. There are lots of suggested activities when you register and resources to help with this.
Challenge– yourself, family or friends to take part in the activity
Capture– by taking pictures, videos, etc. which parents can upload onto social media using the appropriate hashtags, and/or you could send to your teachers to share on blog pages.
