Nursery Autumn Blog 12 Merry Christmas Everyone

We have had a lovely end to our term this week, including writing letters to Santa, finishing off our paper plate threaded tree decorations, and relaxing and singing along to some lovely Christmas songs. We also telephoned Santa to ask him to visit us. We put him on speaker phone, and the children were so excited to hear his voice. Thank you to Joel's Mummy for giving us Santa's number. The highlight of the week was our two Christmas parties on Wednesday, which each included a visit from Santa. Poor Santa came on his sleigh in the morning, and realised the elves had only packed presents for the Squirrels, and had left the other sacks empty. Santa had to return in the afternoon with presents for the Badgers and Hedgehogs, which was very fortunate as all the children got to see him. Santa remarked that all our Fircroft Nursery children were very good children, and he is so right.

We hope you are able to put a little tealight into the colourful diva that your child brought home, to add a little light through these winter months.

Thank you for all the contributions of food for our parties. 

Thank you also to those of you who have needed to keep your children at home because they had colds, flu symptoms or Covid symptoms. We really appreciate this as it helps to keep us all safe and well, and to stop any ilnesses spreading.

Lastly, thank you so much for the generous gifts, cards, and your kind words. We really appreciate them and it warms our hearts.
