'Success for all, in all we do'

Learning from home activities - week beginning 6th July 2020

Dear Cherry and Dragon Families,

As we get nearer to the end of the Summer term, we just wanted to say how much we are missing you and how impressed we are that you continue to complete our activities with enthusiasm! Last week, we were blown away by your amazing work, particularly the miniature books that you made. See if you can spot yours below:

Josh has also created a video to talk us through his fantastic Miniature Book!

Teacher Videos

This week, we are very excited to introduce a new book for our English activities. It is called 'The Little Gardener' and it is written by Emily Hughes. Some of you might recognise her name, she is the same author who wrote 'Wild', which we read at the beginning of the year. Listen to Mrs Lawrenson read the first part of the story:

We also have a very exciting writing task. We would like you to create and describe your own magical plant! Watch the video below for more information:

This week, we are introducing the Talk Topic Challenge! We will give you a weekly topic to talk about for 60 seconds. This week's topic is 'Friends', watch Miss Morris attempt to discuss friendship for 60 seconds, it's definitely not as easy as we thought!

Spanish and Music

Don't forget to watch Mr Benserghin's video for your weekly Spanish lesson and Mr Searle's video if you feel like being musical this week!

Below you will find all of the resources you need for this week's home learning. Please keep sending in photos of your work to: .

We absolutely LOVE receiving your updates - it always puts a huge smile on our faces!

Can't wait to hear what you get up to this week!

Lots of love,

Miss Morris and Mrs Lawrenson
