Here Comes The Summer

Squirrels, Badgers, Hedgehogs and families - well done for making it to the end of the academic year! What a year it has been.

We’ve been busy with singing; settling in; preparing for a Christmas show; building dens; shared story-telling; dancing; brilliant role-play areas; wonderful workshop creations; sand-play; water-play; helping out with jobs; learning to be independent in so many ways; birthdays; discos; gardening; bear hunts; Mog the c-a-t; our trip to the Fire station; a visit from our Lollipop Lady Ulis; bathing and dressing babies; play-dough; counting; and lots and lots of laughter, plus SO much more… phew!

Although life has certainly been rather different this year, you’ll be pleased to know that there is still going to be a Summer Reading Challenge! Join the challenge and meet the Silly Squad by visiting: https://summerreadingchallenge.org.uk/ If you are not yet a member of a library we encourage you to join one straight away. Do let us know if you take part. Email your new class teacher to let them know what you’ve created – you could even include a photo. They will pick up their emails in September and will be so pleased.
