Exciting Learning in Year 5
We had a wonderful walk on Monday with Geoff, our local area history guide. He told us all lots on fascinating facts about interesting people in Tooting - some of them have funny-sounding names.
We concluded our place value learning in mathematics and next week we will start reviewing our knowledge of addition and subtraction.
Although we were a little sad to finish reading Voices in the Park, we used it to help us write a wonderful retelling from the dog's point of view.
On Thursday, as the launch of Black History Month and National Poetry Day, wrote Abecedarius poems inspired by local hero, Joseph Coelho.
In computing, we all learned how to take a photograph and upload it to our Google Classroom page and we all changed our own photographs on Google Classroom as well.
