Music 

Our specialist music provision ensures that pupils, from Early Years to Year 6, engage in a variety of high-quality musical activities which include:  

• Singing and using their voices to perform a variety of songs.
• Listening to and evaluating music from a variety of traditions and styles.
• Understanding how music is created and developing the vocabulary to accurately describe it.
• Learning how to play a musical instrument.

Singing Lessons

We are very excited to offer singing lessons to pupils in Years 3-6 with experienced Vocal Coach, Jason Marrow. Jason has over 10 years experience working as a Singing Teacher, training students of all ages in pop, rock and musical theatre. Some of his students have gone on to perform in professional productions such as Matilda, Les Miserables and School of Rock. 

Jason offers individual 20-minute and 30-minute lessons, as well as paired 30-minute lessons which focus on building a technical foundation through exercises and a repertoire of songs. Should you wish your child to work towards taking singing exams, this can be incorporated too.

Lessons will take place on Fridays, during the school day, and are offered as a series of 10.

Let's Rock

As well as our curriculum offer, we also offer extra-curricular opportunities for developing musical learning. We were particularly excited last year to team up with Let’s Rock, a Wandsworth based, community focussed project, which enables pupils to learn drums, keyboard, guitar, or vocals as part of a rock band!
