Garden Hub

The Garden Hub is coming!

Fircroft has been successful in its bid to Wandsworth Council to develop and transform an area of our outdoor space into a Garden Hub! When completed, the Garden Hub will be a beautiful outdoor learning space for all our pupils, from Nursery to Year 6. Outdoor learning specialist Beata Allen has come up with a clever design which uses and transforms the play equipment already in place, whilst adding new features and areas such as: a wildlife zone, a relaxation zone, a propagation space and raised beds for flowers, herbs and vegetables.

Beata will be working with a wonderful band of Fircroft Family volunteers to make the Garden Hub a reality. Work begins in March and should be largely complete by May. In the early autumn, we plan to officially launch the Garden Hub with a celebration which all pupils and their families will be invited to.
